In the past decade of Australian politics, no Prime Minister has been able to announce and deliver a new energy policy without sowing the seeds of their own defeat. Years on, the energy and climate conversations have yet again returned to the forefront of Australian politics, this time exacerbated the SA state wide blackouts of 2016 and the Black Summer bushfires of 2019/20.
